Sort+

Controls

• Collection+ ID - Use the same ID number as the Collection+ you want to sort. Set up your Collection+ first
• CMS Field Type - List of supported field types for sorting. Must match the target field:
  • Plain Text
  • Number
  • Option
  • Date
• CMS Field Name - Name of the target field. Case sensitive
• Order - Set the order direction:
  • Ascending
  • Descending
  • Off
• Persist Order - Stores preference in memory as the user navigates the site. Read about preserving

Interactions

When Persist Order is enabled, use the special interactions to sync the proper variants. This event only happens when the component loads on the page, CMS Plus will check its status and sync the variant.

• On Sort Order ASC - When a sort is active and the order direction is ascending
• On Sort Order DESC - When a sort is active and the order direction is descending
• On Sort Order OFF - When sort is inactive. Needed when using sorts in a group

Setup

Quick Overview:

1. Insert Sort+ into your component
2. Configure Sort+ with an ID, set the CMS Field Type and CMS Field Name to sort by
3. In your component's descending variant, set the Order to descending
4. For persist order to function, add the required On Sort Order ASC and On Sort Order DESC interactions
